November FriKOTH results.

FriKOTH was a short one lasting 100 minutes and only going five rounds. We had about 20 people flying and only 1 Wabbit trying to win it.
I think we have to attend remedial Wabbit hunting school.
Congratulations and to AKDogg for a natural three in a row win!!! AKDogg chose the Spitfire Mk. I for December.

1st off, congrats Dogg.........you was on your game definitely......


I have no problem with them, I am more for the completely doing away with .ef command, though.........

<----being one who is not up to par with CM commands  for Arena settings, is there anyway to turn off ability to open the parachute?.to where you can only bail/ auger    do away with   .ef / opening chutes / ditching.......

The main reason I had suggested bringing back the kill stats and logs was to try and keep people from skirting fights.

( and it also adds a sense of inter competition amongst the participants, in trying to be the top scorer  as for k/d per round, and per KOTH event )

I razz Lute in trying to get him to show up to play and try and win.

Seriously, all participants should play to their best and prevent others from winning, and the KOTH and the KOTH-TOC  should be played for to make it to where the least amount of people as possible make it.

It is not suppose to be easy to win  an invitation, and I encourage all KOTH participants to try and keep the list as short as possible....

I use to fly many many KOTH rounds, and never cared to even win ........then as I thought about it more, it suppose to be a tournament where you have to overcome great  arm/hand aching dogfights to triumph and win an event.

what we have now, ( well what has happened a few times last year and some this year ), is people would come, win their wabbit status so they get an invite, then never show up again.

sorry for the rambling........although, I think KOTH should return to what it once was and be considered one of the hardest to participate in, and  THE HARDEST torunament to win.....PERIOD.....

that is why it upsets me to see players like Stang, Redd, Octavous,  Curval(<----may have got it wrong  been a LONG time since I seen him in a KOTH ), BigMax, ManeTMP, BluKitty, Gremlin,  Jish, Flyboy ( we know why he isnt here though), and others whom my mind fades on trying to remember, sorry bout that........players who never show up anymore..........

all the progress that has come in the past couple of KOTH events has showed great improvement and has been more enjoyable to participate in.

and with the addition of keeping kill stats/logs for those who fly often in these things, they will seek to fight for the fight! and not skirt for the glory.......

outstanding show you put on Friday, Dogg. you had like 15 or 16 kills.......you truly earned this months title hands down

No way to prevent someone from opening their chute arena setting wise.
Even if we could it still wouldn't be 100% accurate, a low and slow fight sometimes results in a person being on the ground in a damaged plane.
They end flight and I don't believe those would be credited correctly.
This brings up maneuver kills also, which I'm pretty sure we do not use.
