Yep....I remember the game with LSU that knocked Arkansas out of the running for the national championship in '67 (I believe)....final score LSU 14 and Arkansas 7.

This win was no accident.  The Hogs should have been playing like this all year.  Injuries in the receiving corps and boneheaded calls by the coaches have guaranteed 4 losses.

Oh well....water under the bridge.

GREAT game.  I was glued to the t.v. from the 4th Q on.

Well Frankly I think it SUCKS!!!

But we have been asking for it all season.  If we didn't flub the entire 1st and 2nd quarters then there wouldn't have been a OT showdown.  Well at least Mcfadden will be gone next year :)  This is probably has alot to do with my poor mood right now.  GEAUX Tigers

McFadden will be gone only if he decides to go Pro.  Otherwise, he'll be back for his senior year.

So will Felix Jones...unless he decides to place his name in the draft.

How many seniors is LSU losing this year....25?  ;)

LSU failed to adapt to the new (quarterback"less") Wild Pig Offence had them guessing all game.

Having an additional back or receiver can evidently throw a great defense.

I'm wondering if this new adaptation will catch on?

This is what happens when a good team with good coaches allows a team with good players and chitty coaches to stay with them all game long. LSU looked flat to me like they knew they could blow it open in the 4th quarter.

If you have a team as good as the one LSU put on the field all season long then you bone head it like they did at Kentucky and at home against Arkansas then you deserve to loose. Teams like that get smoke blown up their skirt by bone head coaches and then go out and then begin to think that all the have to do is show up to win and then they loose to an inferior team.

It's a shame though since I thought they were the best team out there all season long. Plus this just puts another feather into the cap of those of us who would like to see a playoff system in place for D-1A post season.

It will never happen but I would love to see it happen.

LAST THING!!!!

Darren McFadden should win the Heisman. BUT he will not win it because the ESPN controlled sports writers will not give it to him because he isn't from the Big 10, Pac 10 or Big 12. In  listening to radio shows all week long they are searching for a way to give it to the kid from Kansas who is just a good QB but not the best player in college football this year.

It really tickled me to see them lose it. Not so much against the team itself but the fact that there are SO MANY wacko fans that were crying and screaming into thier beers.

LSU fans are possessed. Spitting and cussing at fans of other teams. Even throwing beer on them if they wear shirts or hats for other schools to games in Baton Rouge.

Ahh yes, Tiger Stadium, tuffest home field advantage in college ball IMO :)

I'll bet ya $5 Tim Tebow wins the Heisman. And he's not Big-10, PAC-10, or Big-12.

Couldn't agree more.  The only fan I can't stand more than a Texas Tech fan...is an LSU fan.  Absolutely the worst I've ever seen.

Well I went to LSU and have attended many games there.  I have never seen fans throw stuff of any of the other alleged stupid things fans do.  I am sure that there are a few that do that (with plenty of alcohol)!  But don't think that all LSU fans are like that, in fact there are quite few.

LSU hasn't really played like a #1 team all year.  The defense has been softer his year than last.  I don't remember when an LSU team gave up do many points per game.  Don't worry Mcfadden will go pro.  LSU held the wildcat offense last year but we have been getting ripped by spread offenses all year long.

I don't understand all the LSU haters, not like we have been a contender every year like USC or Ohio State.

Oh well, GEAUX Tigers in the SEC Championship.
