how about a jeep w/ M20 75mm Recoilless rifle mounted shouldn't be hard the jeep model is already there

yes a true tank killer but very vulnerable to even the lightest machine gun rounds

 it used the same mount as the .30cal so it would give us a new vehicle /version w/out too much work

The development of an US. recoilless rifle started in 1940, when Germany put weapons of this type into action. In the end of 1943 two calibres emerged, 57mm and 75mm. After some live fire exercises in September 1944 at the Aberdeen Proving Ground, an order of 1000 weapons of each type were placed. ~100 Kcls reach the European battlefields in mid March 1945 - just before the German surrender. Instead the weapon proved it self on the Okinawan and Iwo-Jima campaigns.

how many 3.19lbs rounds can a jeep carry , could add the trailer , for playability in the game i wouldn't give it too many rounds

this does sound like a nice idea, and simple too (but im no judge of that)

one thing: surely the M8 sort of dominates this role, as it is quite capable at zooming around Tigers etc, and sometimes killing them.  Also, it has much better armour than the Jeep

30 rounds would be enough! At a bit over 3 lbs each thats still less than than 100 lbs or the weight of a person. With a Driver/loader and a gunner you could have an interesting vehicle.  Just to be on the safe side perk it lightly at a couple perks for the cannon.  

Would make an interesting vehicle for finishing up towns, killing osti's, etc.

the greyhound has a 37mm gun and is a early war design, we are talking about a 75mm gun w/1944 design ammo

how would u figure that when a guy with a .45 cal can take it out /i dont think the little willys jeep got even close to the armor of a tiger tank :rofl

what are you saying a guy with a .45 can take out?

if the gun you're proposing is that powerful, has a 7000 yard range etc surely it should be perked, especially when it can be used on so fast a vehicle

otherwise you'll probably be getting noobs in jeep with a 75mm charging a tiger attack at 60mph and killing the tanks at point blank range

i'd be more than crazy enough to try that

The jeep makes a distinctive racket closing in. Since I usually drive in the pintle position I'd be hammering the jeeps as they get close so you'd be best picking me off at range.:aok
The pintle usually kills a jeep in a couple of short bursts

by the time most GVers managed to get their guns pointed in the right direction to kill the jeep, it probably would have moved on or killed them with its 75mm
