The ice hit here in Oklahoma early Sunday Morning.  Power failures and Ice. Thunder and Lightning.

Man if you thought Lightning was awesome during a regular storm it is nothing compared to an Ice Storm.  The sky lights up BLUE with Thousands of Diamonds.

Trees are literally exploding here.

Had the power out today for several hours. Temp in the house dropped low...my Son and I were gettin hungry. The gates had frozen over and we couldn't get to the firewood.  Instead we took a SWB Telephone book and chucked it into the fireplace. Opened a can of Bush baked beans and some cut up hotdogs...cooked em in the can in the fireplace and had a great time.

Still the ice is falling, stores around here are running outta stuff.  Time to check on the neighbor folks and make the long walk to any store still opened.

There's nothin like this Global Warming chit....

Al Gore is a Fool.

Please take the time and effort to pack and ship as much of your surplus ice as possible to Angus as his seems to be melting. Ice melting also seems to be new and a quite foreign concept to him.

Those all season tires are not all season. Latest study shows 90% of the accidents could have been avoided if winter tires had been on the vehicle.

Meanwhile Al Gore is picking up his Nobel today, claiming the world is heating up.  And polar bears are dying off.  Both proven wrong.
