Many Europeans slag off Americans because such a small percentage have ever been abroad when compared with Europeans. What they forget is that America is roughly the same size as European. What percentage of Europeans have ever left Europe? That would be a fairer comparison.


EU is situated at the small peninsula in the West of Eurasian continent. European part of Russia is in fact larger then all EU countries combined.

Russia is 11 time-zones from Kalinigrad to Bering Strait, US is how many from coast to coast? 5? OTOH you guys can also count Hawaii and Alaska if we count Kaliningrad ;)
