D/A Ridealong shows as Killer?

Hi,
     I went to the Da last week to take care of a Ch200 problem...LOL. A squaddie of mine joined my plane to see the fight. After I killed the other plane, that pilot said on radio that my ridealong showed up as he killed my opponient. Well, needless to say the un-named opponient is now accusing me as cheating. So, what is the problem?
