this morning i was about to do some bombing  high alt.
i went to graphics ang turned my distance and range all the way up just like i always do, my screen went crazy gray then later white,also efected my puter when aces was runing cant read anything on the clipboards !
after try ing to fix for a while i am now reloading aces to see if this helps!

new download of game has not helped still almost white screen when i bring up aces i can see the outline of the clip board but cannot read anything
when i alt f-4 the screen clears up for a moment then im back at desktop good as new!
also i posted this in the wrong place i bet   maybe Skuzzy will put it were it goes.

delete your video8.cfg file in the AH folder. Restart the game and it should set your video stuff back to defaults

finally got it working again but i cant turn my range all the way to 3 miles now! never had that problem before! if i do then i get that white out screen again then i have to go to system restore to fix!

I had the exact same thing happen as I adjusted my gamma slightly darker to make a cv stand out. I was about 2 minutes out when I did this.  I remembered that escaping to desktop and returning always changes my gamma I hit the Windows key, then clicked on AHII in the task bar to go back. It still looked weired but I could read my e6b, instruments, and see the cv  (but not much else in the way of details). A reboot fixed everythign.

Had the same issue I forget what it is but you have to delete a file to fix it.

Ive had the same thing happen to me but i backed up my settings folder. i deleted the one in AH2 folder and copied my backup there works like a charm.
just talk about random stuff but please stay on topic
