DA 262s, 163s
« on: January 02, 2008, 04:15:22 PM »
Based on most of the comments I see and on my personal opinion, I believe HT should not allow jets/rockets in the furball area of the DA arena.  Since we are unable to select those planes from the furball fields, I assume that HT supports not having those particular planes (along with bombers and such) in this area.

For duels in other parts of the arena, I think they are fine.  My request would be to make a separate arena just for furballing or to make the mountains so high around the area that 262s/163s can't make it over and into the furball area.

Thanks for listening to my 2 cents worth.  I know there are many other paying customers who share my opinion and that they outnumber the few who insist on bringing uber-planes into a furball area.

:huh :D

As long as Temps, and chogs continue climbing to 15k and bnzing the furball area I will continue to bring, on occasion,a 163 from A8 and wreak a little havoc on any perky rides I see. Besides its fun.:aok

My vote is for a 70,000 Ft. mountain around the furball area. If a jet/rocket decides to climb up and over that he's earned the ride in there.

20K was nothing.

I flew 38's over them all the time bomb some tigers and go land. If you look in the right spots it's 20K at highest point but their were some only 11K-15K high.

It was Kermit and Betty, they pissed away an hour climbing high enough to get over the mountains then accidentally bombed us rather than the enemy.

I agree 100000000000000000%
I'm sick and tired of ridin my chog in the middle of a fight just to look up and see a screamin ME 262 diving in on me.

They used to be enabled in the furballing area, now theyre not, so I don't want them in the furballing area. Theyre a pest, specially when your on final and they decide to BnZ you right when you hit the runway (had it happen 4 times so far :noid )

If you're in a c-hog, and you look up and see a 262 screaming in on you, the ONLY (and I mean ONLY) 2 things you have to do are bank slightly, and laugh histerically as the idiot rips his wings off and augers.

Not in that particular order.

Anybody afraid of a 262 doesn't really know how ineffective they are in all forms of combat. The only thing the 262 brings to the fight is the ability to escape, sometimes, with its superior speed.

Well, other than the fact the 262 pilot is denying YOU a kill, there's no reason to disable it. If you're dying from 262s you've got bigger problems!!!
