Scot, you might want to requisition some longer sleeves.

SkyTiger, do they still teach you poor scouts bastages that you only have a 17 second life expectancy on the battlefield?  ;)

It's funny you mention that. My platoon went over way before the rest of the regiment and were on point for 'Thunder Run' with 3rd ID. We took three RPGs, one of which didn't go off, and had to sit by in a ditch and wait for a tow.  :D

This was our ride a few weeks later when we were getting it going again. I sent this picture home to my dad and he got it on the front page of my hometown newspaper somehow.  :O

Glad to see the Bradleys are finally proving themselves worthwhile. When I was in we pitied the guys on them, they still had a lot of mechanical problems and they hadn't added the reactive armor yet. My Delta buddies said that they were fun to drive and worked great in training, but they hoped they'd never have to go to war in them. The newer generation ones seem to finally live up to the expectations.

Of course, I'd still rather be in an M1A1 HA or M1A2 SEP...  :t

BTW,  :salute guys. Might bust balls, but nothin but love for any of ya who go over there.
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

Well, certainly not older than me..looks you're in the MP's(we used to call em "Ramp Rats")...nothing personal bud. It also looks like your rank was, at that time, E-3?  Been there...done that, etc, etc ...USAF `59-63. (not MP's)
