I just got back from duck hunting.  We wound up killing 32.  A lot of gadwalls though; the mallards havent really made their full appearance yet here in TN.  But our season total so far (since 1st of Dec) is around 250.  The other hunting club i'm in is around 1000 so far (mainly drake mallards as they dont shoot hens).

Not much duck hunting where I live so I'm curious, what do you do with all these ducks?
The other club looks like they will be eating duck for months.

We eat a LOt of duck meat.  We also give them to a lot of older people that "country cook" with duck.  And we give a lot to the local food drive.  Hunting for the Hungry or something like that

I hope no one starts an "aces and names"  thread (as in kicking aces and taking names) ---I don't want to see those pictures.

I, too, like duck hunting (good thing to do here on Eastern shore of Maryland) but here is a picture of my true favorite activity---fly fishing for trout with bamboo rods.
