at that weight, that should be a record bench :headscratch:

Nah, not really. There were two guys on the team my senior year that actually had better numbers than me, with respects to lifting ability/pounds of body weight.

Out lifting coach was a former (semi)professional bodybuilder and was heavily into the "powerlifting" and building muscle mass as opposed to high reps and endurance. That was the '80's though, and I know the science behind lifting and what is "best" for athletics has come a long way.

And yeh, I regret a lot of what I put my body through at that young age.

Wow, funny looking through this thread and seeing my photos from years ago (2nd post in this thread back in 2007 or something!). I'll bite, here are a couple of recent ones:

Skydiving in Perris, CA last summer...

My OTC A company pass-off on the parade square of the victory building at sandhurst. 2 more years of University and I'll be back there properly!

6am in central London after a wild night out... I know, lets go to the beach!  :lol

One of myself and the girlfriend. Excuse the 'tashe, it was movember. Yes I know I'm a lucky man  ;)

Funny looking back at those old photos, how life changes in 3/4 years...

Nice pics, Pretzel.

BTW on that last pic you've got some dirt on your lip, wonder what happened.

movember... do you guys do that in the states? You start november clean shaven and try and grow a tash for a month to raise awareness and hopefully a little cash for prostate cancer charities. Me and some college mates had money riding on who had the best, I won :)

I predicted that response... I think the real question is why are we both up at 5:30am?!?

It was very cold. Best part was seeing all the guys I did it with making very sketchy landings trying to cover their bits because the girls we were with, were all out on the DZ with zoom lens cameras hahaha! There were some very chilly willys, some moreso than others :D

Around here our local radio station sponsers growing a stache for a month, then they have a day where they entice women to go sleep with a guy with a stache near the end of the month. Friend of mine had a wonderful night thanks to that.  :O

I'm sure there's a charity involved, but I don't pay much attention.
