In the market for a computer, I mostly will be using it for media production. My major requirements are a hefty CPU, and lots of RAM. I know of TigerDirect, and NewEgg but I know next to nothing about the specifications of computers that makes it compatible with what I'm doing. I use programs that are heavy on CPU.
Any suggestions/websites that allow me to build a computer from scratch...I even thought about gutting my old computer and putting in brand new parts.
Also, anyone know how to make the computer display from a video card on default. My comp no longer recognizes the video card after I transported it on a two hour trip, and I believe the onboard video card is shot...any help would be appreciated.

How is this computer for what I want to do?
while Im sure you will get plenty of responces here.
the Hardware/software Forums is the best place to ask.
Im not trying to MOD.
Just saying where you will get the most knowledgeable help.
It would probably also be helpful if you discribed exatly what you are planning on using the computer for.
As for your Video Card.
always try the simple stuff first.
If it worked before but doesnt now.
Since you transported it. It is possible it came loose in its slot and may simply need to be reseated.
after that its starts getting more ugly LOL
