How bad were your injuries, specifically.
Did the FAA even talk to you?
Any idea why you were omitted from the report?
I saw the pilot in command was 19, were you and the other passenger also about the same age?
I was in decent shape considering. I had my left bicep stitched back together with 73 stitches. Both knee caps were crushed pretty badly, right wrist broken, a few borken ribs with the rest brused, some damaged discs in my back and both shoulders dislocated. I was cut and scrapped up just about anywhere you could think to put a scab. Oh yeah, they could not give me any pain meds incase they needed to rush me into surgery later, so all those stitches were with out anything to deaden the pain.
My only long lasting effects have been my knees and shoulders; had a couple of surgeries through the years to keep the knees working and both shoulders give me problems. I am drawing 60% dissability for those injuries, but I get around pretty well in spite of it all. I can almost predict the weather though.
Yes, we were all young and invencible; I was the oldest at age 21.
The FAA interviewed me while still in the hospital, with all the usual questions. I had a copy of the original report and it had the correct number of passingers listed. They may have transcribed the PDF document incorrectly when they computerized their data base.
