Tigers what's the point?

About ten minutes ago i died twice in a tiger to a panzer. I hit him and my shot richocets he hits me once and i die wtf is up with that. There is no way a tiger getting hit in the front should die one hit. HT should lower the perk value of the tiger seeing as its worthless. I remember the days when u could sit in a tiger and listen to all the hits and have no damage. Ill get off cuz im pissed!:furious

How far away was the panzer from you?

I cant recall ever having a shot bounce off a panzer when I am sitting in a tiger

If point blank was the range, then that is why he was able to kill you with one shot.  Tigers are strong -- not indestructible.

I would guess your shot deflected because you hit at an oblique angle to the armor.  A solid, 90 degree hit on a surface would have smoked him easily.

Without film, though, hard to say for sure.

Point Blank as you stated a panzer can kill you with one shot from anywhere front side back under top dont matter. point blank a t-34 can kill you. heck even an M8 can take your turret out at point blank.

as far as your shot goes film it next time. was he parked at an angle to you???? this causes more bounces then anything. like i said film it next time so we know what we are looking at.

you died to your lack of SA. you should have never let the panzer that close to you. tigers should be fighting from a distance and parked at an angle from the nme so the bounces are more then direct hits.

but this is basic GV 101 you should know this by now. no reason to run to the forums to whine about losing your tiger to a zipcode.

I do not GV a whole lot, but the impression I get from most GV'ers is that the M4 rendered the tiger neutered.  But liek I said I myself do not GV much so I dunno.
