If I could I would. Truth is I run a Windows 2000 (A Windows OS back when Microsoft wasn't so generous by handing out free video editing tools.) and never have made a film.
EDIT: Just watched the updated film. Seems you got it working. As you said it's bad quality, but overall you achieved your goal of figuring out how to export a film to be viewed.
Now to get better with film quality I suggest you use websites such as RapidShare, MegaUpload, or Stage6 to upload your film to. They don't ruin film quality and allow people to download the films too. Typically websites such as YouTube and apparently the one you were using reduce video quality to decrease the file size and make the file easier for stream-viewers. Thus the reason for uploading it to a website specifically designed to download files.
The other hint I have for you is to talk to Niros, Bnasty, or Kermit. They are all good film makers and can help you achieve a better film quality when exporting your project. Talk with them and figure out the best settings for the optimum quality of film. Who knows, everyone may be raving over your film in the upcoming weeks.
