AAR One year later
« on: February 03, 2008, 04:38:47 AM »
Last week ,or so, I was flyin around for the first time in a year, and it went better then I'd ever thought possible.

I started off in buffs, allowing Easyscor to fly a set Lancs along side me, so I could help him learn how to how to bomb properly.Despite the distraction of Easy's voice cracklin over the vox, time and time again, askin stuff like,'what does this button do?', or ' does ALT f4 really make my plane fly faster?', I managed to bomb the HQ and bring us all home.

I then seen there was ground armor activity at a nearby base, so I headed that way. Upon getting there, I seen it was Moil and his LTAR gang attacking the base. I quickly upped in a Osti, and proceded to take out the whole LTAR attack, and had 7 rounds left.

Itchin to get back in the air, I took off in a stuka, just machine guns, no bombs. Bombs just weigh down the stuka. So at around angels 18 I run into the BK's. And by Bk's I don't mean that famous restaurant (Bill's Knockworst), I mean The Blue Knights! So, I'm in the middle of fighting the Bk's, with about half of them downed so far, when I get interupted by a PM, totally throws me off. Turns out the PM is from Leviathin, and he needs tips on flyin a Spit. Needless to say, this is a distraction I could do without, but feel it's my duty to help up and coming AH players.

After that mission, sittin in the tower, I was gettin ready to head to the hanger when in the text bar was the distinctive texting of none other than HT himself. His text in it's usual 'God Blue' tint. HT needed me to help him write the koade for the finishing touches on Tour of Duty.I had to tell him that it'd take a little longer because I was typin with one hand, I needed the other to shoot down the remaining BK's.  By now I'm gettin tired and was preparing my next mission.........

[BRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNGGGGG]..........awwww crap!,  damn alarm clock went off. What a time to be woken up, just when I was about to remember the names of every MAW ever.

chit gotta go to work.

Guys, just because it was a dream doesn't mean it didn't happen.  Dreams can be of real events, you know.  In this case, I believe most of it is indeed real.  I heard from some people who directly talked to folks who know some of the participants who witnessed these events, and they corroborated almost all of it.

Howdy, Bumba!

By the way, Traci and I enjoyed some more of that delicious maple syrup on pancakes a few days ago.  Most excellent, and she sends her thanks.  "The best maple syrup in the world," she just told me as I type this.
