Thanks to the guys who do the aircraft skins

For us history minded folks, the ability to use different markings on the AH birds has really been nice.

Tonite the SAPP crew went up for "P38 Pilots are Yellow" night on the hunt for Japanese planes.

We used the 432nd FS, 475th FG skins for the G, J and L models of the 38

It looks kinda nice to have group markings to use.  So thanks to Fester, Oboe and Knite for the 38 skins tonite.  It looked great and was great fun.

Knite's L skin on the lead bird, Oboe's 38G skin 144, Festers 38G skin 162 and his J skin 168 all on the runway.

The 432nd.. er.. SAPP on the roll.

:aok

For sure.  And for me especially, I Thank you Fencer.  Fencer has now completed 3 more skins for Jagdgeschwader 11.  Making a total of 7 JG11 skins soon available, (6 by Fencer). Each one a beauty!  For those of us who look to get more from the game than the quick kill, or name taking duel...but rather look for that quasi past life connection to the worlds foremost epic air struggle...I salute you.

I'd like to say thanks to them also.

The knowledge, experience and man hours for no real profit to themselves invested in making them.   Shows their passion for this game and the history behind them.   The research needed to make sure they are near on 100% accurate aswell.

Greebo's British ones and Fester's Pony skin are my favourites and there are many more newer ones that look pretty amazing for first attempts like Mus51's skin.

The level of detail of some of the newer ones has taken it up a notch and i'm sure HTC are thankful for the effort these guys put in.  To make the game look better as it could be argued that this is one of AH's weak points.
