It'd be nice to have some snow.  If not the whole map (considering most skins we have would look out of place), then at least the mountain tops, or something...

We used to have thick and dark stormcloud fronts, with no visibility except from point blank range inside the top clouds, and reduced light under the clouds.

I don't know if it was complaining (as night got), or bugs (I could often see far dots from within the clouds), but it's a shame to not have them anymore, as it is with night and a variety of terrain tiles.

Hopefuly HTC can do something about it... It may be time consuming, but at least it's not (as far as I can tell) a brain splitting issue like strat balancing or how to model new planes, or how to develop CT are.

I flew in a special events arena that was winter landscape once.  It is pretty neat and a very nice change.  I asked about the map but was told it was SE only:(

M00t, I think that there was an issue of it drawing down framerates, but I could be mistaken.

That's probably it Frode, I made a map with these thick clouds and every-one's frame rate went from 30+ to 5 FPS.

Odd to have mountains that are 15k-20k, yet no snow.
