nice job on your 1st film i really liked your use of screenshots. You must be using WMM can tell by the quality of the film (only thing that bothers me is the low vid quality) but my 1st films where done with WMM and  ended up the same way.It was a great learning tool and is easy to learn.

i use vegas 7 and im not real sure the differance between stage6 and others. I use stage6 cuz the quality seems better on uploaded films. i Used to use youtube but the 100meg limit sucks and most youtube vids look like crap due to the pixilation it causes. Only problem with stage6 is the uploader has been down for a few days and they suck at letting us know whats goin on.

Please, if you are going to be using that kind of music though, put in something else besides what u did put in. I guess if u want a kind of song like that browse Blink 182, Sum 41, Jimmy eat World, shoot maybe even Green Day (When september ends?? that might sound good in that film)

Good quality of people you shot down. Was that all in the same sortie? Shooting down AKAK, ghi, mtnmn, and agent in the same sortie would truly be a great one.

what did u have in mind angel,,,i guess music is a personal choice at the end of the day,, im not a fan of evanesscence, but if you listen to the lyrics it kinda suiteed the sortie,,,,;)

tks replies to all,,

ermm, no i cheated a little and included some kill signals from other sorties, directors poetic license i guess tehehehe,, but at some stage i have shot down these fellows to have the signal :D

tks reeb ill try out stage 6 and vegas 7 see how i go,,,,,

Hey Sidey, I enjoyed your movie.  The music was a good choice. I have made a few of these and if you don't mind I will offer an opinion or two.

Try to set more of a story. Lots of kills set to music is fun but it doesn't present a storyline. At the start of your movie I was anticipating more of a story, your opening was fantastic.

Quality wise, we have to work within our budget, so not having access to higher end editing software doesn't mattre to me. It's nice eye candy...but it doesn't tell the story. (No offence to reeb, he makes some interesting movies as well)

All in all though, I enjoyed it and look forward to seeing more!

keep'em coming.

cheers,

no offense taken if us film makers didnt get positive and negitive replys we would never improve our films. Ive been trying to take the feedback i get and apply it to my  next films(if you have seen my old films you would see the improvements ive made and thats due to getting feedback) i really cant wait for stage6 to get the uploader back up and running i have a film i wanna post(Its my best film to date) its got sort of a squad theme to it and the way it flows with the music is actully pretty good(i ended up cutting it  short due to tool's songs being long and i like to try keeping films under 3mins).And as far as music goes sidey use what you think works best for your film not everyone will like your choice but your the film maker  use what feels best to you cuz there will be 10people that like it to the 1 that wont. also in the long run most people will only watch a flick once where if your like me i watch my own films over and over saying i cant believe i made that.

ooohhh and ive never had any classes or training on making films like most things i do its almost all self taught. I dont do to bad for a knuckle dragger :D

Hahaha.

Sidey that music was awful! Haha. Dragonforce or some sort of Japanese metal shredders would have at least been funny

:lol

I do love watching a good Prawn bbq, though. Nice rope for Odd on the F6F. It was good of you to let the F6 get a few hits in and think he was getting somewhere :rofl

We'll have to do 152s next, like the other night.

Not bad, you know what you're out to do, and that's most important. As you yourself suggested, learn some of the camera shots to help spice up the film with an occasional fly-by or plane camera movement. The only downside of the film was 1. Quality 2. The ending music. You seemed to go for a Japanese theme, but used a British soundtrack in the end. Shame on you!:p

I'm sending you a PM with a good soundtrack for a Japanese film, if of course you choose to make another film with Japanese aircraft.

Great job!:aok
