If you ever wonder what all those squiggly lines and stripes mean on Luftwaffe aircraft. It's got some cool profiles too.

I've seen it before. I guess it could be useful sometimes, and I've got it bookmarked, but to be honest I've never really used it directly to help create a skin. More of a general FYI kinda page (which has its own merits)

Awesome site thanks.Was curious though, when looking at the colors used for the Me-163 there was no red color.

That 163 was a test flight scheme, or something of that sort.  It must've flown one sortie painted that way.

The story I heard is that it was one of the first 163's equipped to that Geschwader (JG301 IIRC). The ground crew had painted it Red to look like Richtoven's Fokker. The pilot hated the scheme but it couldnt be redone before that days flight was to be started, so he had to live with it for that day (and then it was repainted in a standard scheme)
