Would putting out mass troops on your own field be considered gamey? Seems the axis think not.

allow me to point out the following;
1. it doesn't work unless the objective is to drop frame rates into the single digits.
2. those players doing that are probably not true axis but the glory seekers who flopped over.  these guys are axis the way mccain is a republican.
3. you guys failed to take the base because it was defended.  in the future you may want to consider base capture when no axis players are on.  try during working hours as most of us axis participants are gainfully employed.

I was surprised at some of the names on the Axis side.  Don't know whether to laugh or cry.

I think there is a belief that releasing friendly troops near a friendly object will somehow reduce the accumulated damage.

This belief is wrong.  As others have said, spawning friendly troops at a friendly field has no effect.

It does distract the enemy for a while as they try to shoot them and then get shot themselves while not paying attention :-)

You may have hit the nail on the head here.  I think I know who he is, he was skulking around in the A20 area and never in a plane. He was on the Allied side until the F4F, and C202 were pulled. He quickly swapped over the Axis side and has been there ever since. I'm willing to bet he shows up on the Allied side as soon as he feels theres a shift in the airframe balance. I'll know he's back because my ears will start bleeding.
