You don't have to try and blow smoke, bro.  Cheney told the Texas power folks to rape california and that is exactly what happened.(too bad we'll never get to see the transcripts of the meeting)  Somehow several of Cheney's close friends made millions in the process.  hmmmm   By the way, I hated davis/fairy too.

You are seriously disillusioned. Really, you are.

Cheney "told" the "Texas power folks"  to rape California? Are you serious?

Too bad we'll never see the transcipts??? God, you are making me piss my pants. I guess only you have the transcripts.

Gray Davis negotiated the deals that sent his state into the toilet.

Never said he didn't, or can you read?

I said cheney opened up the wolves on california.  He had the power to help the situation, instead he told his buds to go make some big bucks.  I think of it as a form of thievery, not much unlike post katrina fuel hikes and record profits from oil companies.  Enron/Reliant/gouge!

Hmm, silence from the KBR fanclub. Very interesting...

Are lazs, JB88, john9001, VWE, and Eagle members of the fan club?

So that's just "most" of the troops that got sick but not "all" of the troops that got sick?
Then that means that the rest of those that wern't the most either got sick from something else and never washed their clothes or used that water for the toilets.
Would that be correct?
Mac, don't nitpick me for using the word "most". I don't have the medical reports, I have the story I linked you to.

LePaul, I'm not the victim. The troops are. Don't you support the troops?

Yeager, in a nutshell...yes.

Bodhi, let me just waltz into Blair House and rummage thru Cheney's private stuff and I'd be glad to show you.

NUKE, not to get off subject, but have you seen the documentary "The Smartest Guys in the Room"? It has ENRON traders on tape telling power plants to shut down and make up a reason for it. It was stuff like that that caused the power rates to jump.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

Let me get this straight.
There were 5 sites total. 3 KBRs and 2 military ran sites. All with the same water issues, both KBR and military ran.....but KBR is poisoning our troops? What about the military ran sites?
Sounds like an across the board problem that is being taken care of on both ends to me.

Oh, just another note about California and it's power management. Have you ever heard of a guy named Gray Davis? He was the guy that ran California and negotiated the deals that made the state nearly go bankrupt trying to pay for his power agreements.

He was also only the second governor in US history to be recalled.

Quick, who was the first and which state and party?

Yeah, I thought about Ev Mecham (sp?) when I wrote that. lol.

I remember his days very well. He really had a bad habit of saying the wrong things at the wrong time. The press had a field day with him.

I remember one thing he said that seemed crazy that I later thought could have been true. He said that someone was listening to his conversations by using a lazer on his windwows.

Then I remembered that a friend of mine (later 1970's) told me that his dad worked on stealth and also a satellite that used a lazer to read sound waves off of vibrations in windows from space.

From space may be a bit far fetched, but the use of a laser to detect the small pressure variations cause by conversation in a room via the window pane is not unheard of. Kind of like an ultra high tech can with a piece of string on it.
