knock knock
« on: March 09, 2008, 02:46:31 PM »
tap tap, is this thing on?
its been almost 3 years now since i stoped playing, and altough i dont have much spare time the tickle in my fingers is getting the best of me  :)
over time i kinda lost track of the game and the community i loved so dearly. and im courios what as change in the past 3 years?

new arenas? CT is out yet? KOTH still running? are the old dweebs still around wrecking havoc? is the DA still the best place to shoot it up with the best?

as for me, im still in the army hence ill probably show up only in the weekends.
i got myself a new computer, but still dont have a decent flight gear, how much will a CH set cost in the US? im thinking about ordering it there and ship it, it will probably be cheaper then buying it here.

cant wait to see all you dweebs around in the air.

Flyboy!  Yo brother, not much has changed, the same dweebs still roam the skies, along with the same tards, a few new loudmouth wannabes and the meek toolshedders.  Lots more eye candy now and we're set for a huge update including the P-39 and some cool new tonka toys to play with.

Yeah it would probably be cheaper to buy it here, especially with how much the dollar has fallen recently.  I have 25 Euros from the last time I was in Europe 5 years ago, and I've made like $20 on it since then. rofl.

Nice to know our resident israeli is alive and well. :)  I haven't heard from you in a long time.  I only came back several months ago myself.

CT isn't here yet but who knows, maybe it'll arrive in 2 weeks.

Good to see you are still around.

Only the names have changed. Everything else is pretty much the way you left it.

Come on back if you can find the time  :)

Flyboy!

Great to hear from you.  Will be a good day when we see your face in the arenas again.

As to purchasing controlers in the US.  I shipped a HOTAS to Europe a few years back.

It cost me almost 500 dollars US to do so via UPS.

If you purchase in the US please inquire first about the shipping cost.  It may be prohibitive.

thanks for the tip hajo, i have a relative that might fly to the US soon, im sure he could pick it up for me and bring it over.
i took a X52 set from a friend, piece of plastic toejame, i cant stand those twisty sticks but i guess it will do for now.

im hoping my ETA to the arenas will be next weekend but i aint sure yet.
i heard theres a new set of arenas instead of the old MA, whats the deal about that? are there enough players to populate all of them?

oh and last question, whats the ultimate super duper uber new dweebfire? seems like so many models i just cant pick.  :D

"the ultimate super duper uber new dweebfire"....
Difficult one, but I'd have to say the Spitfire XVI  :D (I'm hardly an unbiased source).  Or the Spit XIV if you like perked planes.  Probably better add the F4U-4 in there as well though.

Afk for a year or so.  The name of a gun turret in game.  Falanx, huh?
