Figured I'd post about this because I almost missed it myself.
The Texas Georgetown Airshow 2000 is going on this weekend in Georgetown, Texas, which is about 30 minutes north of Austin on I-35. The air show has all sorts of aircraft and aerobatic demonstrations from all eras, with a strong showing of WWII aircraft provided by the Confederate Air Force. WWII era events include: A Pearl Harbor attack reenactment, a European Theater Air Reenactment (B17's & Fighters), A European Theater Ground Reenactment, A Pacific Theater Air Reenactment, and a T-34 w/Yak fly-by.
For more information on the show, including directions & ticket prices, go to their web site
here
. I plan on going either Saturday or Sunday, so if anyone wants to try to coordinate and meet up there, drop a note here and lets see what we can do.

I will be there, speaking in an intoxicated slur, trying to convince an F4U owner that my Aces High score
does indeed
mean that I am more than qualified to take his plane for a spin.
