If you could only have 5

                         New rules in force. AH is forcing you to pick 5, and only 5, airplanes you can use. Say you have to pick 2 fighters, 2 bombers, and 1 attack type airplane. What would you choose and why?

                        We can even enhance this with allowing 2 GV types per person. Which would you choose and why?

For once a general thread that isn't totally ridiculous.

For bombers, I'd say the B-24 for its overall ability to sustain and cause damage while having he ability to protect almost every angle of itself.
Then I'd grab a B-25H as my medium bomber for its versatility.

For the the attack type a/c (which I assume is your word for a light bomber/fighter) I'd probably take a Bf110G.

For GV's I'd take an Ostwind for ack cover and a Tiger I for porkage.

For the fighters, I'd surely take a P-38J/L for its combat ability and ability to fill the attack roll very well while still being able to out-handle any fighter pretty much under 200 mph in the vertical.
And, of course, a Spitfire VIII since I'm so used to flying it as a loyal Canadian. Not going to catch anything in it in a dive, but it's tradition.

Bf-109E4- Perk farmer
Me-109K4- To catch the La-7s

Attacker:
P-47D40- Id rather the D-11, but it only carries one bomb. A nice dumptruck with the ability to fight like a beast afterwords.

Bombers:
B-17G- Sexiest airplane in existance. Tough, decent bomb load, great guns coverage, good high altitude bomber, and im just in love with it.
B-25C- For CV killing and pretending im Ben Affleck.

GVs:
M3- Perk farming
Tiger I: My big kitty :)

Im a little torn between the Yak-9 and the 205 as my perk farm fighters. I really like em both. For pure fighter I'd probably go with the Spit-16. Bomber-wise it would have to be the B-17 and B-26, "tho Im real, real tempted to say KI-67". "Attack aircraft" it would probably end up being the 110-G, tho Mossie is in the running. GVs would be the M-16 and Sherman with the big Brit gun.

Spit-16 (hell, may as well have the LW uber planes)
Hurricane 2c-I want to outturn anything
P-39 (when it comes out)
Lancaster(I sometimes want to bomb)
F4U (any model i love the F4U  :noid)

Sherman VC-firefly

I think mine are kind of noobish with the spit-16 and the 2c but I may as well have the best to fly when it first comes out. I want the P-39 so i can learn and I really like the F4U. (F4U is prolly gonna be a -1d or a -1a)


oh and are they really forcing  :huh I sometimes like to fly 109s and other stuf like that.

F4U-4 -Duh
A6M5b -so i can survive the hordes of spits

Bf 110g 2 -can pork a field and fight if you need to

B-17 -My favorite plane when i was a kid
IL-2  -Cause it's a nice way to add in a second attack plane.

Firefly -Faster than a Tiger and just about as deadly
Wirblewind -I suck half the time in the osti

FW190D- great fighter and my personal favorite
TEMPEST- In my opinion the best fighter in game, can BnZ, TnB and those 4 20's are great for buffs.
ground attack plane
P47d25 or d40- great ords load out not bad at dogfighting either.
bombers
b24-good guns and bomb load out.
lanc- bombs,lots and lots of bombs.
gv's
panzer-never got used to m4's small gunsight, not bad hitting power or armour.
tiger-my favorite tank in game, best gun, best armor.
