Puck, where do I go to input that info you posted in that link on your other post?  Maybe you can post some instructions on how to use it if thats not to difficult.

You're off by 1 somewhere.  53 is the F4U-1 (7 is the Nikki, 6 is the pilot according to my list)

Tried to modify text and nothing changed. Those of you who've successfully made changes -- what entries in the mis file make the plane types change?

If you change the 53 to something else you get a different aircraft.  Fiddle at will  :)

Just flew a mission with 109G2, but my wingman had P51. The two enemies were also P51:s and for some reason they flew extremely tight formation (almost touching) until I smoked one of them. Was fun though.

Ok, now I'm completely confused  :D

I just checked my list, and when I type in ".plane 54" I get the F4U-1, and when I do the 53, I get the M-8

I'll try editing the files now  :D

The number you type in the hanger to bring up a plane is shifted 1 digit down in the mission file. For example if you type "/.plane 1" in the hanger buffer you'll see the P-51D but, if you change the 53 that puck showed in his example below to a 1 will get you a 109.

As HT just said it starts from zero in the mission file so just subtract 1 from the number you have listed in your previous post and you'll be good.
