Stick Config
« on: March 31, 2008, 08:37:03 PM »
Good day Gents, I today I retired my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro for an X52Pro, and I need some help with the stick configuration.  Does anyone have one I can copy to for base setup?

I believe you'll be able to find some in the hardware forum, as I asked for some a while ago (don't ask me to find them for you, the SEARCH function and myself are not getting along to well right now :lol), but I bailed on the idea and just mapped everything through AH.  To me it was easier and quicker.  You can't map macro's, but I don't use them so it's all good.

OK, stick noob here :o :), but whats a macro?
I'm guessing its like where a single button press performs a sequence of button/key presses?

More or less. I don't use macros in AH, but I do in other games. This is a bad example, as it would annoy people very fast,
but you could setup a macro to where you press the button and it opens up the radio and lets say channel 200 for this example.
Then it would say "Hey squad XXX is recruiting PM me for details" and every time you press that macro key it would do all that for you
so you don't have to type it all out over and over.

Like I said, bad example as it would probably get your text privs taken away but an example none the less.
