Yes, yes we can wish them all away.  It's really simple.  You start catching them, then dropping them off in the middle of the Mexican desert right at the border.  Tell them that if they take one step towards America while still in the range of the guns they will be shot.

Until you've caught them all, you then stop all the money flowing from illegal aliens in america to their home country.  Not only will the purpose of coming to america to send money back become useless, but America will keep billions more which it can do with what it pleases.  Hell, we can use this money to kick their tulips off. 

Hell, I like that!  Using their own money to deport them at little cost to us!

Giving them licenses mean they will alll suddenly get insurance?  You can get insurance in the US with a mexican DL.  Why don't they have insurance now?

My first wreck was ramming a fence-hopping burrito muncher as he decided to turn left in Tucsons suicide lanes. Cracked my fiberglass on my Dodge Shadow totaled his Toyota. He had false insurance papers. After getting the run around from my insurance company I decided to just live with cracked fiberglass.

 I went into court to testify in his trial. Met with the Jr DA or whoever prosecutes traffic stuff. He said the guy was looking at a month and a big fine. We went in, Judge drops the case because someone checked civil and not criminal on the papers they sent him  he walked.

It depends upon how you approach problems, Neubob- if you believe issuing a decree that all illegals be forbidden to have drivers' licenses (and you need a license to have insurance) then what you'll get is alot of illegals driving cars without insurance. It seems ironic to take that approach since so many illegals have been here, and been driving, for years, but this is what voters like you, and Steve, and many others want, and is a predictable outcome.

having a drivers license is not going to make them get insurance, nor are they going to stop driving because they dont have one. by giving them drivers licenses we are just saying, ok fine, you wont abide by our laws but you want to open a bank account? sure why not!
if a citizen had done what this guy did he would be in jail for attempted hit and run!yet what will happen to this guy? he gets to go home? you think he will not try to come back? if he had a license and got deported ,do you think that then he might stop trying to come here? and after a few hundred thousand return to the us after being deported and losing there licenses what kind of i.d. will we give them so they can drive? i was driving long before i had a license and i am pretty sure it is not a prerequisite! we all have something to lose if we break the law, thats why the law works! illegals dont mind the law because there is little for them to fear!

my idea has nothing to do with magic or wishful thinking.  It is more like simply looking at the crazy cat woman who puts out milk..  now..  she ends up with hundreds of cats.. by your reasoning.. there is no solution to this unsolvable problem.. no way to get rid of all the cats in the neighborhood..  you can't build fences.. the cats will climb over em.

I am saying.. quit putting out saucers of milk and they will go away on their own.   New ones will not see any point in coming around....The ones left will be easy to trap and catch.

Will we be better off?  Of course we will..  a staunch union guy like you should be able to look at construction industry and see just what and why it has become a minimum wage or lower trade when before.. it was a great place for a blue collar guy to make a good living.

What I want, is for every last illegal top be deported and our borders protected so they cannot come back. 

My plan, once I'm elected president, is to build a deportation center in Antarctica, directly beneath the hole in the ozone.  No fences.  Any person being processed is free to walk away at anytime.  With our governmental efficiency is should only take 24 months to get them to their country of origin...via kayak.

The real crime here is now you get to deal with all the hassels of the insurance paperwork, rental car, vet bills and time/money lost. The illegal gets a vacation, with three hot meals, a roof over his head, and a collage education to become a real criminal. When he gets out, he'll disapear and do it again to somebody else who may not get to be as lucky as you......only in the USA!

Just think, if you had physicaly restrained the guy, YOU would have been in the wrong, and you would have gone to jail, so backwards it just blows my mind.

If you were so inclined, one can look for the registed owner of the car that hit you, they can be held responsable for your losses.
