Please, point out the defeatist tone in my post. Please read and ask someone that knows basic reading comprehension to explain it to you.
All my posts states if we had taken these actions and enforce our immigration laws by going after those that employ them long ago, we would most likely not face the problems we have now. Never do I indicate that it's too little too late and it won't help. On the contrary, Arizona is an example that if you go after those that employ illegal aliens, it will do far more to curb the problem than having armed vigilantes at the border, like a lot of you have expressed.
Sheesh...no wonder why they say our American education system is in the dumps.
