Charles Heston passes away
« on: April 06, 2008, 12:03:58 AM »
I forgot about this great quote...

In June 1998, Heston was elected president of the National Rifle Association, for which he had posed for ads holding a rifle. He delivered a jab at then-President Clinton, saying, "America doesn't trust you with our 21-year-old daughters, and we sure, Lord, don't trust you with our guns."

Don't give him the attention he wants Donzo.   He obviously knows not a thing about Charlton.   I know this much, last I heard about Charlton in 2002 was that he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's.   I also know he isn't suffering anymore.

Served in WWII? How old was he?

<S> CH.
He enlisted in 1944, I'd say around 20.
