Invasion of Sicly
« on: April 05, 2000, 12:19:00 AM »
Attn, Intelligence report. This just in, a
Allied High command transmision intercepted detailing the Allied plan to take Sicly.

Allied troops leaveing from Africa (Rookland)
with heavy force of B17 type bombers & escorts.(332nd FG) Target Sicly (Bishopland)HQ & support facilities. Bombers expected under 25k with a light escort of P38 fighters.

Estimated time of arrival, Mid afternoon Sunday local time (3:00 est in SE Arena). We expect this is the first of several raids designed to destroy support structures & disrupt command & supply lines.

Scramble all available C205 & 109's at first sighting.

ROE, Due to the scarcity of ammunition internal guns only available. (No gondola's please)

Defending fighters please remain over
friendly territory. With the limited amount of trained pilots available we cannot afford to have any captured.

Due to the limited number of 109's available
local Italian airforce units will be sent up to meet this threat. (I don't know if anyone is up for the challenge of trying to shoot down a tight bomber box with escorts in 205's. But I dare ya to try!   )

****Note****Ideally I'd like to see 2 .C205's per every 109 but there is no way to enforce this. So, on your honor please Gentlemen.****

Squadrons available for duty please contact myself  or Daddog. Mission will last aprox 2 hours after which all ROE are off. (read FFA & practise)

No Registration required!
All friends & foe welcome, the more the merrier. If you have a side preference drop me a reply here or email me.

Careful, you may get what you wish for!

Near the maneuverabilty of the Spit, bigger standard gun loadout, stable at high alt... Heck, I would prefer a 205!

Hey the idea is to have fun here Kieren!

We will try to keep things as balanced & fair as possible on both sides.

Besides I know what those JG2 boys & their LW rides did to us last week. This can't be any worse. (Gulp, I hope)

SE Arena was not up when I went in (due to 1.02 no doubt) Plans were put on hold for a later date (and possible review)
