How do I fix this?

Every time I start the offline arena off the menu it'll load and then crash. I did download Baumers "Milk Run" mission.

Getting a bit annoying. I'll trying re-downloading.

lots of people having trouble getting into offline practice. seems to have started with patch 3 (the last one one released). Don't think anyone came up with a solution yet.

When, and how exactly is it crashing?

Does it crash when you select offline on the main menu or when you select offline missions when you're in the tower offline all ready?

for me it is when it the information bar says it is loading terrain. the screen goes black then comes the message error has occurred with AH and windows is closing down AH.

I've been having the same problem since I downloaded and installed the latest patch.  I'm just waiting for a solution.

Greetings,

  Prior to clicking on offline practice - open the video options and unclick load textures and skins.  I unclicked those and the game started working normally.

  I will recheck them prior to playing on line tho...

Mine are already greyed-out and unchecked.

I get a similar problem for the milk run mission. The map loads but as soon as it gets to terrain complete instead of heading to the map it stays on that screen forever.

ever since the update, I have had a very slow time getting into the offline arena mode. When the cashe says "terrain complete" my computer sits at that screen for 30-60(maybe a bit longer) seconds before I go into the tower.

See this post from Pyro: a few suggestions which work for some users, but basically the fix is in the next patch.

Lots of people sweating on that patch now
