you can type on radio 5.. its shift \ by default.



that is shift + backslash


Still missing the point.

The OP has his J/S button set to pop open the text buffer.  But it won't go away unless you activate it and hit enter (whether you type anything or not).  Sounds like he wants to never touch the keyboard - so what's the point of bringing up the text buffer?  :P

The reason would be to see the voice list box that comes up with the radio bar. But I am not really sure why this would be a speed critical thing.

my bad, I was responding to someone else in the thread that seemed unaware of shift \ and forgot to use "quote"
