Unfortunately the planeset only supports a very limited subset of realistic matchups. Even the 1944 ETO isn't quite there. The other theatres aren't even close.

Another thing to consider is the terrain.  The editor is not yet available, so any "realistic" scnearios would be done on the 1.02 terrain.  While that might be fun anyways, the ability to come up with a custom terrain for a realistic scenario would be even better.  I believe that's what Vermillion is shooting for with the North Afrika scenario, but nobody knows when the editor might come out in public.

Yep, I know about the scenario, but I mean the operational profile of realistic battles.
Squadorns, etc...

I am working slowly on itally scenario (8/1944-), but very long way to go and need terrain editor.
