actually, HTC does not appear to have nor care to have any control over the wikipedia wiki.  That is public domain, and as such the public need to be properly informed.

also, 99% of the people looking at that wiki already know about Aces High 2, or are currently a player.

Hopefully they don't know about the conspiracy though...  :noid

Actually you're creating more work for those at HTC.  Who do you think has to re-edit it or initiate a restore back to the original document?
Some wikipedia nerd will catch it before HTC ever gets wind of it... :lol

Who do you think has to re-edit it or initiate a restore back to the original document?  I'm guessing the company that is referenced in the article.

Nope, I think it'll be one of Wiki editor. Wikipedia has volunteering editors that checks the change made to pages and correct joke such the one Ack-ack made.

While funny, posting on a public wiki discouraging remarks about HTC's customer base is sort of like a knife in the back.  I would think that those who developed and run a game that most of you find enjoyable should be treated a little better in a public forum.  But I guess that's just my opinion and those who like to bite the hand that feeds them can do whatever they'd like.

I don't think we put HiTech or his company in any bad light.  Thankfully, his sense of humor is far better than yours.  You really need to lighten up Francis.

Are you suggesting that the pilots and co-conspirators of SAPP are giving HTC a bad name?  For shame!

Could be we're just weeding out those without a sense of humor for the good of the game...... :D

the Mika song:  "Relax, take it eeeeeeaaaaaasssssyy,......" comes to mind

Actually, I seriously doubt anyone will have to change it back.

It will probably be one of the WikipediaBots created by the Wikipedian JumboNerds Society (WJNS), which destroys any remarks violating the sanctity of Wikipedia and Sophie.
Afk for a year or so.  The name of a gun turret in game.  Falanx, huh?

Wow, I didn't know S.A.P.P. had anything to do w/ AHII besides the fact that they are a "Secret Association of P-38 Pilots".

That was a funny read  :rofl :rofl

"Aces High is a combat flight simulator and massively multiplayer online game for the PC. It was created by HiTech Creations and SQUEAKERS and released on May 8, 2000. This day will be forever known as "May 8th, 2000".p"

Huh?

Lol

For those who desire fuller immersion into on-line WWII combat, there are special events, which are mostly dominated by P-38 SQUEAKER pilots

rofl :rofl

After SQUEAKERS successful Anti-Squadron measure which resulted in the online arenas being split up, SQUEAKERS decided to capitalize on their success and ordered HiTech to close down the H2H arenas indefinitely on 8/27/2007. This night is now famously referred to as the "Night of a 1000 Broken Glasses" due to the collective high pitched whines of the H2H SAPP (Secret Association of Pixel Puffers) population that resulted in glassware for miles being shattered.

That comment is funnier than the Wiki site.
