I have been teaching middle school for years and am trying out something new this year. Due to my time spent in Aces High and many of my squadies I know people all over the United States, but really only a few outside the U.S.
If any of you are out side the U.S. and would like to participate in this 'geography' game with my class shoot me a PM or msg me in this thread. It is a simple game where my class is divided up in to groups and each group gets to ask you one question each round to determine where in the world you live and what city you live in. The questions have to be related to history, or cultural in nature. They can't ask if you live in the northern or southern hemisphere, if you are between certain latitudes or longitudes, or any geographic location questions similar to that. I am the go between. No one communicates with the students directly. Students give me the questions that I forward to our world resident who in turn sends me his responses and I then share those with the students. Names are never exchanged. The game is played till one of my groups can determine what country and city you live in.
I have done it once and both the player and students really enjoyed it. Would not take much of your time. Just a few minutes a few times a week. I would like someone who would check their mail every day.
I would like to start this in a week or two.
Anyone interested?
