Philosophically? Who knows. I would hope getting along, but I know some enjoy doing the opposite too much.

1. Short-term survival trough building a global alliance and the defeat of despotic and theocratic governments and thinking.

2. Devote ourselves to the advancement of technology.

3. Long-term survival through the application of technology to sustain the genetic viability of the human species, and spread mankind to other worlds reducing the chance of an extinction event.

There ... easy!  :)
