I got in on a couple of his missions the other night. They were a lot of fun. Not for the enemy. They got smacked down.

There is another pilot, CHAPPY, who puts a good mission together and gets into it.

I give commendations to anyone who puts an effort into the game like these guys or others. They add a variety to it.

My copper opinion.

After going around for a time trying to take out everything red that got in the way - with limited success, I joined a couple of missions hosted by the above 2 gents over the last couple of days. I didn't say much and by my limited time over the target contributed even less to the task. That's not the point of this. Death and Cntrl ordered people around and took it very seriously. They were great. They both added a level of involvement and commitment by their actions that became a whole new level to the enjoyment of the game.
It is so very easy to throw a phrase like "armchair generals" at them, it's harder to get involved, suspend reality and appreciate them for their enthusiasm.
Their positive attitudes and thoughts over 2 missions negated all the 200 rubbish that comes up in a tour. The April subscription was deserved in 15 minutes.
That's it - had fun, wanted to share.
You may want to try FSO.

I could post a film of his vox usage but the language is unsuitable for the BBS (and would probably violate a profanity rule). But essentially he was coming high into an area in a ki84, not commiting to fights until they were well engaged, then picking. Now I don't mind someone coming in high, but not engaging lower cons until someone else was well and truely tied up is somewhat cowardly IMHO - and for his fellow countrymen close to killstealing. So I figured out I'd put an end to his picking and figured out his route. Sure enough I found him co-alt, I was in a Spit VI and he a Ki84, he was short work, little challenge when co-alt co-e as are many of these ego's. He immediatel got on vox and hurling some abuse about how skilless I am (doesn't really worry me, I'll never be a 'top gun' :)  ), and easy a pick I was (kind of ironic really).

If you really want to see this guys real personaility I suggest a bit of search engine applied to handles and aces high. He is very fair from what this community needs IMHO, and it underlines my belief the OP is merely a shade trying to make him look good in the eyes of HTC after some bad PR (ie films sent in by players) which may see him permasquelced or worse.

True... or you might get a <Salute> and and invation to wing with him as myself and a couple of squaddies did a couple of tours ago... DrDeathx is a good guy that takes it oersonally when he gets killed... I have NO problem with that! I look forward to seeing DrDeath in my gunsights soon and hope I don't see him on my 6!! :salute
