The Armor: needs attention considering how many people get 1 shot killed at long range by panzers and M4s.
The Cannon: is a joke. Ive seen t34s, M4s and panzers take many direct hits and live, when the 88mm was at the time among the most lethal of cannons to be had.
Most lethal doesn mean "guaranteed kill".
And actually it also is the most lethal tank cannon in game.
And about that 1 shot long range kills by M4 and panzers I have to say two thing:
- Keep in mind the M4 is a firefly with actually one of the most powerful tank guns in WW2.
- People have a better memory for negative occurences - the few instances where people will in fact get killed by panzers at long range will be greatly overemphasized in memory
The Tiger still has a 5-1 K/D on the Panzer IV, and most Tigers did get killed by Panzer at close ranges for sure.
It's still the most potent tank in AH2. No other GV can klill as good at long & very long ranges, no tank has better armor and, NO gv can survive enemy bombardment as well as a Tiger (When alone and defending a port vs enemy air missions, I roll a Tiger, not Wirble - guess why...)
