Still in the Med League

SG4, although wiped out again in the latest frame of the Med League, is by no means disbanded. Camo has done too good a job and spent too much time putting together a website, etc. just for it. I'm not quitting even if I'm the only damn 190 in there.

Thanks, and have a good day.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it!

Even after all the hardships we're going through, I think this has been overall a huge success.  Pilots have had fun and the matches have been great!

Looking forward to the next frames!

JG53 the Pik As are still there.  We had 4 pilots up on SAT.
Rock:  Ya see that Ensign, lighting the cigarette?
Powell: Yes Rock.
Rock: Well that's where I got it, he's my son.
Powell: Really Rock, well I'd like to meet him.
Rock:  No ya wouldn't.

I am still in as well just hoping for the first trouble free round
In fact i dont care which side i am on as long as its not in an outright bomber, i prefer dropping mine dive bomb style
Hblair glad to hear your gonna persevere, my view is if the spits are too high at 30k to fight then drag em down where you want em. Its not mandatory to fly and try to engage at 30k and to be honest i reckon it would be fun to work out ways to trap em.
Of course the other option is maybe your aircraft are not being tasked with suitable missions for their type ?
Just a thought.
If it was me and i knew spits would be likely to fly at 30k i would sneak around well below them and go Jabo the hell outa something then they gotta come down after you
Or mebbe use your squad as low bait with 109's waiting a few K away to bounce spits once engaged , lets face it most pilots get tunnel vision and once they start fighting you they will follow you anywhere desperate to get a kill
Hmm a spit killer mission designed to take em outa next frame.
On second thoughts i know nothing so please ignore all above suggestions

I'm still in, even though the high alt engagements are frustrating in a Fw190a5.  Also frustrating was the whether to dive and extend to the north or stay and help fellow squaddies engaged.  I wanted to stay and I wanted to survive, which left me in the middle of our group.  I made 3 useless reversals and on the last one didn't see any friendlies left and it was far to late to bug out.

I think Cavalier made some good points.  Without an altitude cap, the mission of the a5's might need to be rethunk.

jg53's 109 are still in the game.. tho were totally out matched... our commanders see fit to pit us against planes that are just creaming our 109 g6's were suffering 80% losses every frame.  Spits and strato p38's and super fast tiffies are eating us alive... we need some good ole fashion jug food!!!

Warchild, sorry for being too late to help you.

My 4 109 G-2's arrived to the scene right after your last G-6 was shot down.    We shot 3 typhoons down, 2 ran away. I think atleast the other one was damaged. We lost one plane and pilot.

All in all, the western front was another success, with 2 airbases captured.  Unfortunately, most of the eastern squads suffered extensive losses, we have to see what kind of a force we can air in the next frame.    However it will turn out, we will be victorious!

Btw, I'm still waiting for reports from the axis squads!  Report thread here: http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/Forum7/HTML/000278.html
