AAR: "Black Devil!" Snapshot

LW CO: Wilbuz
Russian CO: Saw

This was a hotly contested event, with the Germans pulling off precision dive bombing attacks against V46 and V47. V46 was heavily damaged, V47 only moderately so. Defending Russian fighters made the Germans pay dearly for their attack, however, as every attacker was shot down while trying to rtb.

Chalk this up as a minor German victory.

Thanks to all who participated. Within a month we should have a couple of Eastern front terrains to use for events like this.

(speaking from somewhere in Siberia, chirping stones...)
Was fun !

I got us set up in two separate groups, (one @ 15K, the other 20K) and started to criss cross between 47 / 46. We were going slowly (my mistake, while shouting orders, I inadvertently(wow, sp ?) took less fuel than I though).

One of our brave pilot spotted the enemy low East, and the lower group dove in as the upper group started heading West (smart LW commander had a strike planned @ both bases at the same time it seems).

(Plz 2nd flight insert your bit here)
We (low flight) quickly spotted the Me109's trying to egress, low and fast... got into a pretty hot fight (laughs madly at Wilbuz, hehehehe...) and emerged victorious, with only one 109 limping towards his friends (the Western attack group.)

This fight was fast & furious, I can't tell you more than I spent my time blacked out, only to realise that we had lost the leader of alpha flight (high ones)...

Nice setup banana!

I have to go now, I hear footsteps in the corridor...
