Results - "Desert Victory Part 2" - Sunday April 1st 2001

S!alute

Here are the results for the Check6! event "Desert Victory part 2", flown on April 1st. Click  here to read the scenario writeup.

I wasn't present in the event myself, so unfortunately I can't write an after action report.  Therefore I'll be limited to scavenging the logs.

Allied: 170 points
Axis: 440 points

OVERWHELMING AXIS VICTORY

Since the first part was an overwhelming axis victory as well, we can without doubt say that the situation in the mediterranean is less than secure for the allies. In this frame the axis inflicted heavy losses to the allied forces and also managed to establish a foothold in mainland Africa by capturing Sfax (A9).

Here are the details of scoring for both sides:

The allied had 45% of the participating pilots.  They performed 66 takeoffs during the event.
The axis had 55% of the participating pilots.  They performed 98 takeoffs during the event.

17 fighter kills = 170 points
