connection
« on: June 03, 2008, 09:30:31 PM »
I understand that i been having some problem with my connection.  For somebody that tells me that my connection bits should zip it.  You don't know me or what kind of connection i have.  And, making remarks about my mother looking ugly, you just cross the line.  FYI, she has bells palsy, nothing to joke about.  I would expect better class from the axis, i guess i am wrong.

"I understand that i been having some problem with my connection" If you know you have a connection problem why tell me that I'm warping?? And then argue that its not your connection?

"For somebody that tells me that my connection bits should zip it" No I wont its irritating trying to shoot something that happened 15 seconds ago when your not the best shot in the first place.

"You don't know me or what kind of connection i have" Your right I dont know you, what I do know is that your connection is consistently poor. I have told you this several times on 200 as have a few others, in a polite way which you have ignored.

The person on axis making jokes about your mum was distasteful but it wasnt me. You have worded this as thou I was making comments about your mother. The only thing I said on 200 was that the person's comments were in bad taste.

My apologys oaktree can't remember the guy who was slagging your mum off saying anything about your connection, while me and you
did have a disagreement about it on 200. So thought that was about me as that was my exact wording. But came on here pretty angry in the first place after some of the general gamey behaviour in ava last night, hopefully boa will be a different kettle of fish.

Not everyone will have a good connection.  Sometimes re-logging can fix it, but sometimes it's just un-fixable.  We don't bar people from the arena because of that.  If it's too irritating to chase someone who has a poor connection, it would be wise to chase someone else.

love seeing people cry about connections, take oldmans advise.  If you think your having a hard time hitting him he's probably having just as a hard time trying to figure out where you are.

That's true...but when they warp in and out of the trees and ground, it's really bad.   Sometimes, in a gaggle, the warper, at first glance is just another enemy chasing a friend...so in you go...only to experience...the warping.  Sux for everyone involved, warper, warpie...

I almost exclusively fly a K4 that means I only got 60 odd rounds of effective ammo I only fire one shell at a time I cant go blasting something that
is flying a 5 second lag in a turn. I usually find if I'm stuck on someone whos warping and I cant take him down quickly I'll get ganged pretty quick, Also had an incident with oaktree where he warped from 1k to right in my face on a merge and hoed me which is a bit disheartening to say the least, so maybe you can understand my frustration. My last broadband supplier used to give me a sucky connection people told me I ended up going on dial up at 1p a minute to solve the problem until I got a better broadband connection.

I don't waste my time with those guys it's just not worth the headache. I just get out of the area and call it a waste of time, nothing he can do at that moment any ways to fix it. I was in a squad with a couple guys that had a bad connection and after enough messages about it or being called a cable puller he/they really get tired of hearing it. He knows it's a problem and messes with him as much as everyone else.

There was a guy in a 190D warping badly last night. I was amazed at the trauma displayed by some of the people I was flying with. The vox was full of whines, complaints, and accusations of cable pulling. It's not like he's the only plane to fight. All the noise on vox was much worse than the warpy 190.

Thx pervert.  my apology too.  sometimes we all let our emotions control us.  If you where in that 190, sorry, but i know it wasn't you.  And the momma remark, i know who made that too.  In all, i do realized i am hiving some issues with my connection.  I been working on it to fixed the problem.  Thx for everyone who let me know about it.  I wasn't ignoring you, just trying to find out what the issue is.    <S> for all that have been patience with me.
