Yesterday had an annoying extended "fight" with a guy I hadn't seen much in the MA -- he was in a Dora, and reminded me of nothing so much as a ball on a rubber band. You know, he sprints away till you turn, then he comes right back; you make a reversal, and away he goes to repeat the cycle. When someone else got him in a similar late war ride, and I got the assist message, I checked score to see what this guy was made of...
And was surprised to see that in the 3 complete days since the tour started he had logged Forty Three Hours. (Tour started on the 2nd due to weekend, and this was the 5th.) When I logged off today, he was continuing the blistering pace with Fifty Two Hours in four days.
Ladies and Gentlemen (along with any AHers that leaves out), that amounts to Thirteen Hours Each and Every Day! Maintaining that torrid pace seems impossible, but if he manages to continue he'd spend over FIVE HUNDRED HOURS playing AH this month. A commendable performance for anyone, and on track to be among the truly great recipients of the Pasty Face Award.
Now for those who don't remember, in years past players whose addiction (or competitive drive) compels them to completely surrender their lives to AH have been nominated for this prestigious award. It's been quite a while since I've seen the topic come up, but in the face of such dedication it only seems right to revive the decoration once more.
So if you have nominees, bring them here!
