It was a good game.  Had Arjen Robben not scored that goal after Henry's then it could have been a match entirely.  The look on Henry's face was priceless. :D

I wonder how many dutch players will be rested versus Romania.  Hopefully romania will win, knocking out France and Italy :D

Well done Spain - the best team won. I don' think Germany ever did more than 'just enough' in any of their games and it would have been a travesty if they had won.

Looking forward to the World Cup qualifiers now. After Scotland drew both World Cup finalists and a quarter-finalist in the qualifiers for Euro 2008, I knew it would be tough for us. Our World Cup group should, in theory, be much easier. I'll be upset if we're not at least runners up.

well Spain won and deservedly so.

They played good attacking football (even if it was mainly counter attacking) and fabregas, villa and torres are world class players.  Will be interesting to see how far they will go in the next world cup.

Turkey and Germany both rode their luck, surprised the Dutch didnt do better against russia.

Now its something like 47 days until the new season starts.  doesnt sound so long when it is written like that  :D

by my calculations if Spain hadn't won a major tournament since 1964.  That means that in 2 years time maybe it is time for us to be winners again   ;)

Maybe you should settle with qualifying for the finals. That would be progress...  ;)
