A "class action lawsuit" will be a waste of money and time.  I have seen what happens to people who have tried to sue large companies in Texas.  They end up bankrupt and distitute.

Here is how it works.  You sue them, and you win.  The company you sue files action claiming the awarded amount is not fair for the basis of the suit.  They keep you tied up in court until you can no longer fight them.

By allowing you to 'apparently' win, it keeps the case here in Texas courts where they can control it.  They make sure you never collect anything.

That is why AT&T and Verizon are based out of Texas.  And why many other Fortune 1000 companies are looking to move to Texas.  Those companies pay little in state taxes and are protected by the state from any litigation.  They also get carte blanche from the Public Utilities Commission and other state agencies whose job WAS to look out for the public's interests.  How many other states have laws that protect lawyers from being sued?  That is right.  You cannot sue a lawyer in Texas if he/she does not do the job they are hired for.

If you have enough money, you can buy anything in Texas.  All our representatives are for sale.  Most of them are not even trying to hide it anymore.  I used to love living here.
