Little Dixie
« on: December 01, 2009, 08:09:53 AM »
Not sure if this is the place for this, but here goes. Does anyone know where there might be a picture of Maj. Ralph Cox's P51K SER# 44-11348 coded CS-P (Little Dixie), with the 359th FG, 370th FS? Can't seem to find any pics of it anywhere. To tell the truth, not sure if any exist.

Thanks for any help

Nothing turned up in the 359th FG history "Mustangs & Unicorns" by Jack Smith.

It does note a 190 kill by Cox, and that Cox was involved with the air combat with Russian fighters March 18, 1945 when he downed an LA5

I'll keep looking

Thanks for taking the time guys. It really is appreciated.   :salute what I was intrested in finding though, was a picture of his pony "Little Dixie". Like I stated above, I'm not sure if one exists, but thought I would see if anyone might know where one might be.

Again, thanks guys for all the info.

Hey Nutzoid, try this sight. These guys have been very helpful to me and they are a much larger community than the AH fans.

They have a specific forum for aviation photo requests.
