I don't care how good these guys are. As long as there is a complete lack of respect, they're not worth any of my time. They also have a way of insulting other players, sometimes the whole community. That approach will get you nowhere, kids learn those basic social skills in kindergarten yet these guys lack that understanding completely. Alternatively, they try very hard to make enemies in the community.
There are many others who feel the exact same way. I did not see this side of JG54 until I left them, so... perhaps that's what you have to do in order to really get to know them. I don't recall learning anything from these guys when I flew with them. What I learned during that time, was on my own. While I offered my knowledge to them, none were interested. To me, that was a clear sign that some individuals had no intention at all to learn from others, because they had a very clear idea themselves of what a "good pilot" was, or was supposed to be. That's not a good attitude if you want to develop your skills as a pilot, or as a person even.
Maybe you should get yourself some reference before boasting how JG54 is the best squad in the game, just a thought. Your post, while posted as a question, has traces of the JG54 attitude in it too, no doubt inspired by other members of your squad.
I don't know what the standards are in other countries, but here in Sweden just having the attitude that storch and some others in JG54 is displaying repeatedly, completely disqualifies you to ever come near a fighter a/c let alone be trained as a fighter pilot. It is so far from the spirit of the real Jagdfliegern, that it makes me... (Image removed from quote.)
respect is earned not given. maybe we, as JG54, are a little harsh, but not all of us are this way. you seem to enjoy lumping us all together. as a group. yes, we are not without our flaws. however 1 personality does not make an entire group. it just enhances the whole experience. i would suggest valium and a breath of fresh air. maybe you'll feel better.
i for one have alot of fun with everyone of all squads whenever possible. i do find that in the AVA you are of no help to anyone not in your squad. too bad, it would be alot more fun for all if you would be more giving and helpful. i for one, am trying to get into the spirit of the AVA. so far, as XO or whatever you pretend to be, you seem not to care about anyone not in your squad. too bad. it takes away from both my experience and others flying solo. judge not, lest ye be judged.
