i just thought it might be a *sin* to fly as a bish in one and a rook in another..
Some guys fly one country in one arena and in another arena they are a different country just so they can fly against their "favorite" opponents all the time. Let's say you have great fights with player x in EW (you're a Knight, he's a Bish). You get to MW and check the roster...player x is now Knight. You can either stay Knight and try to hook up with him and fly together; might be great for building online friendship (or intelligence-gathering for future encounters
), or you can switch to Rook or Bish and hunt him down and continue the good fights.
Some guys get into an arena and check the numbers of players for each side and then jump to the side with the least players, because they want to "even the sides".
Some guys get into an arena and check the numbers of players for each side and then jump to the side with the most players, because they want to "be part of the horde".
For whatever the reason of doing so, country switching should mean nothing...although some people are so fiercely loyal to a country that they'll spew all sorts of vitriol at a player who "country-jumps", calling him a spy or traitor. Sometimes this is in fun, but sometimes these guys are serious. I've seen (can't help it as they type in "All" channel) quite a few heated "discussions" between various people in various arenas. Sometimes it's "spy/traitor" related, sometimes it's very personal.
Some guys just take this game too seriously.
