Made my hair stand up :)   I wonder if there's anyone out there who made a scaled but exact replica of their scaled warbird's engine...  I remember one guy who did it with polished brass and chrome parts, but a flying one would be pretty cool.  The guy that replicated an LM Ferrari prototype had it sounding almost perfectly like the real one.  I saw it in person and it sounded awesome with the echo from the hangar the exposition was in.

I have seen a scale 300hp Jacobs and a really cool 250cc 5 cylinder radial.

Here is a cool video of a scale Yak 11 with a Moki 250cc radial.

Here is the same engine in a P47

If that F6F made your hair stand up, this might make something else stand up.  :lol

hehe   Exactly what I was thinking :)  I'd have gone the extra mile (or hundred) and found a better engine for it though.
What's that he's got atop the fuselage, ahead of the canopy?

Looks like an A model.  Might be the Flugwerk replica.  If you can't tell whether the nose is the long (Dora) or short (A) type, you can tell the difference from the exhaust arrangement:  on this one is the A-model's radial engine's squarish exhaust assembly, whereas a Dora would have the inline stubs horizontaly lined up..

He should get a starter motor like they've got on GP bikes, instead of taking forever trying to hand start it like that.
Great sound :D  Way better than the usual lawnmower micro-thumper..
